As part of the registration process with us, we collect limited personal information. We use this to enable us to deliver our service to you as well as to keep you informed about product information, offers and tastings, and also to check our records are up to date. You don’t have to share any of this data with us but if you don’t, you may not be able to buy wine from us and you may not receive our best possible service.

We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them or have signed up to receive our blog.

We use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter about our products, offers, services and promotions. Keeping your data

If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.  Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We will not keep your personal data for longer than we need it. We do need to keep your data in the following circumstances: As long as it is needed to provide services to you, or where it may be required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and to detect and prevent fraud.

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If data deletion is requested we will attempt to carry out this request within 24 hours of the request. Any data that is needed for audit will continue to be held under business to business conditions and destroyed after 6 years.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss of your personal information. Your information is contained securely. Any hard copies of personal data (for example contained in a sign up form) are only accessible by relevant staff. In the event we are notified of a data breach we will ensure anyone who’s contact details we hold is notified within 48 hours.
